Alexander Krupnov

Alexandеr Krupnov was born in Moscow on 26 June, 1941.

Dr. Krupnov was elected as the President of 3G Association (now Infocommunication Union) since it’s establishment in 1999 year.

Dr. Krupnov is an academician of the International Academy of Telecommunications, the International Academy of Informatization, the International Academy of Technological Sciences, the International Academy of Sciences, Informatization, Information Processes and Technologies, the International Academy of Telecommunications Quality.

Dr. Krupnov is the author of over 50 publications, an Honorary Doctor of the St. Petersburg State University for Telecommunications named after Bontch-Brouevitch. Dr. Krupnov holds the title of “Honored Worker of the RF Telecommunications”.

Dr. Krupnov was the Chairman of the State Commission on operators activity licensing in 3G networks in Russia.

Dr. Krupnov had been awarded the order “Sign of Honor”, medals, telecommunications industry awards. He is the RF Government award winner, the prize-winner in the International Competition “Elite of the World Informationists”.
