Andrey Skorodumov

Andrey I. Skorodumov was born in 1960 in Byelorussia.
In 1983 he graduated from The Military Telecommunications Institute in Kiev. In 2004 he graduated from the Russian Academy of Economics named after Plekhanov and got MBA degree.
He served in the Russian Army, took part in carrying out of R&D works in the field of modern radio network systems construction.
Andrey Skorodumov has been Chief Executive Officer of 3G Association (now Infocommunication Union) since 1999.
Mr. Skorodumov has been involved into telecommunications research activities for more than 20 years. He is a Ph.D, member of the Expert Council for the Russian State Duma Committee on information policy, information technologies and telecommunications. Mr. Skorodumov was the member of the State Commission on operators activity licensing in GSM networks in Russia.
Andrey Skorodumov is an academician of International Telecommunication Academy. He has more than 100 scientific publications, three patents. He took part in 50 R&D works.
He is married and has two sons.
